Ingredients
  

  • 500 g broccoli (half of a big bunch)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (butter can also be added)
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 small potato (chopped small)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • lemon juice

Instructions
 

Preparation:

  • Wash the broccoli well and separate it into florets.
  • Chop the onion into small pieces.
  • Chop the carrots and potatoes into small cubes.

How to make:

  • Heat the olive oil in a pot. Then add the onions and fry until they turn translucent..
  • Add the carrots and stir for a few more minutes.
  • Add the flour and fry until the smell comes out, stirring constantly.
  • Slowly add the milk and whisk to make sure it does not clump.
  • After adding the water, add the potatoes to the pot. Cook on medium heat until the potatoes are soft.
  • After the potatoes are cooked, add the broccoli to the pot.
  • The broccoli will soften in 5-10 minutes. Then, use a blender to bring your soup to a smooth consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
