Ingredients
  

  • 500 g ground chicken (breast or thigh, optional)
  • 1 onion (grated or finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional – for adding to the filling)
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Place the ground chicken in a deep bowl. Add the onion, garlic, egg, and breadcrumbs. Add the parsley and spices. Knead the mixture thoroughly. If desired, you can add a tablespoon of olive oil to make the meatballs more moist.
  • Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. This will make it easier to shape.
  • Pinch off walnut-sized pieces of the mixture and roll them into balls with your hands, creating slightly flat meatballs.
  • Brush the air fryer basket with oil, then place the patties in the air fryer basket. Spray or brush with oil on top of them as well.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes at 375°F (190°C). Flip, spray the tops and cook for an additional 4 minutes.
