Even though doner is good in all its forms, iskerder kebab is something else. Iskender sauce can also be used with grilled meats, meatballs or pasta.

Approx. 500 ml. But add it by paying attention to the consistency.

Instructions
Put the olive oil in a saucepan and heat it. Add tomato paste. Saute until the raw smell of the tomato paste disappears.
Add sugar, salt, black pepper and chili pepper if you like it hot. Continue cooking while stirring.
After mixing the spices, add hot water and let the mixture boil. Cook on low heat for about 10 minutes.
Add the butter and stir until melted. Boil for another 1-2 minutes.
If the consistency of the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more hot water.
Turn off the heat, add ketchup and mix well.
Serve it hot.
Notes
Make sure the sauce is not too watery. It should be a thick but fluid sauce.
