After washing the cauliflower thoroughly, remove the stem and cut it into small pieces.
Grind the cauliflower in a food processor until it becomes as fine as rice.
Cook it in a pan over low heat for 5-7 minutes. (or microwave)
You can use a cheese cloth to squeeze out excess water from the cauliflower.
Place the squeezed cauliflower in a bowl. Add grated cheese, egg, salt, garlic powder, thyme, dried basil or rosemary (optional). Knead until it forms a dough.
Spread the dough into a thin circle on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Pre-bake the base without putting any ingredients on it. Bake in the oven at 200°C/400°F for about 15-20 minutes until the edges turn golden.
When the edges start to take color, remove the pizza base from the oven. Add pizza sauce and desired toppings. (Be careful not to add too much toppings as it is a thin base.)
Bake until the cheese is golden brown.
