Celery Root or Celeriac Fries make a great low-carb substitute for potatoes. This low-carb frech fries have 7 grams of net carbs per cup!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 celery root
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili flakes optional
  • 1 tsp garlic powder optional

Instructions
 

  • After washing and peeling the celery root, cut it into strips. Cut it into thin slices, just like french fries (1/4 inch sticks), and place them in a bowl.
  • Add olive oil, salt, black pepper and any other spices you want to the bowl. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  • Pour celery sticks onto the baking tray. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C/400°F with fan setting for 20-25 minutes. It means it is cooked when the tips turn golden.
