oranges
Instructions
Oven:
Slice the oranges thinly (0.5 cm thickness is ideal).
Place them on a baking tray covered with baking paper or foil.
Set the oven to 100-120°C and dry for approximately 2-3 hours. Turn the slices every half hour to ensure even drying.
Air Fryer:
Place the orange slices in a single layer.
Set the appliance at 80-90°C (or the lowest temperature).
Dry in a controlled manner for 40-60 minutes. Check and turn the slices every 15 minutes.
Microwave:
Place the orange slices between two paper towels and microwave.
Check for dryness by turning on the microwave in 30-second intervals. It may take 3-5 minutes in total, but be careful: too much can cause burning.
Radiator:
Spread the slices on a clean cloth and place them on or near the radiator. They will dry naturally in 2-5 days.
Sun:
Place the oranges on a gridded surface, cover them with thin tulle.
Leave them in a place with plenty of sunlight for 4-7 days. Don't forget to turn them upside down.
If you want, you can also dry the slices by hanging them on a string.
Dehydrator:
If you have a dryer, dry it at a suitable temperature (usually 50-60°C) for 6-8 hours.
