  • 500 g chicken breast (diced)
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp curry
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

How to Make Curry Chicken:

1.Step: Heat the oil in a pot. Fry the chicken pieces that you have cut into cubes in the oil. Transfer them to a bowl and set aside.

2.Step: Add oil to the pan again if necessary and sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic until the onion becomes transparent. Transfer the onion and garlic to the bowl.

3.Step: In a separate bowl, mix the flour, curry, salt and pepper. Add the milk and mix well.

4.Step: Pour the prepared sauce into the pot and cook over low heat, stirring until it reaches a thick consistency.

5.Step: After about 10 minutes, when the sauce has thickened, add the chicken, onion and garlic back into the pot. Mix together with the curry sauce.

What Goes Well With It?

Chicken with curry sauce goes best with rice or pasta. A light green salad also goes great with this dish.


Tips

  • If you like the curry to be intense, you can increase the amount a little.
  • If you like your curry sauce spicy, you can add some chili flakes to the sauce.
  • You can marinate the chicken beforehand to make it more delicious. If you marinate it in lemon juice, yogurt and a little olive oil for a few hours, it will be softer and more flavorful.
