Lady fingers dessert recipe; with its wonderful cream, it is a perfect summer cake that you will want to make frequently on hot days. Its cream is so delicious that I use it in other recipes as well. The recipe I will share is a very practical recipe that requires few ingredients and can be made quickly.
Lady fingers dessert stands out with both its eye-catching appearance and taste. You can easily impress your guests by trying this creamy dessert, which is very easy to prepare with ready-made lady fingers (savoiardi) biscuits.
You can prepare this dessert using a springform mold, in a baking tray, or in dessert cups. The choice is up to you. I usually decorate this lady fingers dessert by sprinkling cocoa powder on it. It also goes really well with coconut powder. You can also use strawberries, cherries, raspberries etc. If you want to decorate with fruits, be sure to add them just before serving.

How to Make Lady Fingers Dessert?
1.Step: For the cream; put milk, flour, starch, vanilla, sugar and eggs in the pot. Mix well with a whisk and cook.
2.Step: When the consistency of the cream thickens, turn off the heat and set aside to cool. Don’t forget to stir occasionally so that it doesn’t form a crust on top.
3.Step: When it cools down, add the labneh cheese and mix until it reaches a smooth consistency.
4.Step: Fill a glass with milk and dip the lady fingers biscuits into the milk.
5.Step: Arrange the biscuits in a pyrex or any other mold of your choice, sugar side up.
6.Step: Pour half of the cream over the biscuits and spread.
7.Step: Add cocoa (or chocolate) to the remaining half. Mix well. Pour the chocolate cream over the plain one and smooth it out.
8.Step: Cover it with stretch film and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until it is completely cold.
9.Step: Sprinkle cocoa on top before serving. Optionally, you can also decorate with products such as fruits, hazelnuts and pistachios.
Things to pay attention:
- While making the pudding, it will make your job easier if you first beat the eggs and sugar and then add the other ingredients. Otherwise, milk may splash everywhere while whisking.
- Add ingredients such as flour and starch slowly, whisking at each stage. This way you can prevent clumping.
- If you want to get a brighter cream, turn off the heat and add 1 teaspoon of butter and mix.
- If you want to add chocolate instead of cocoa to half of the cream, which I recommend, do this while the cream is hot. Otherwise, the chocolate may not melt easily. You can also use a microwave to melt the chocolate (30 second intervals on highest setting).
- Do not add the labneh until the pudding reaches full room temperature.
- Be sure to cover the lady fingers dessert with plastic wrap before putting it in the refrigerator. Otherwise, the top part will form a crust.
- If you want the dessert to come out perfect, let it rest in the refrigerator overnight.
