You can make both practical and healthy meatballs with the air fryer meatballs recipe. Thanks to the air circulation feature of the air fryer, it is possible to achieve the flavor of frying by using less oil. This saves you time, cleaning and even calories.
With this recipe, we will make meatballs suitable for low-carb diets instead of the classic mother’s meatballs. We will not use breadcrumbs or flour in this recipe, which makes this recipe suitable for the ketogenic diet also. But if you want to use some flour anyway, I recommend using a small amount of coconut flour to make the meatballs easier to form. This recipe does not contain eggs. So, even those with egg sensitivity can easily consume these meatballs.
Air fryer meatballs, which cook in a shorter time and are lighter than traditional frying methods, can be consumed at every meal of the day or as a snack. These meatballs are extremely soft and juicy, and they only take a few minutes to make.
How to Make Air Fryer Meatballs?
Step 1: First of all, we chop the vegetables we will add to the meatballs. Chop the onion and parsley as finely as possible. Optionally, you can crush and add 1 clove of garlic. Transfer them all to the bowl with the meatballs.

Step 2: If your meat is fatty, you don’t need to add extra oil. But if you are using low-fat meat, you should add olive oil, otherwise meatballs will be very dry when cooked.
Step 3: Now add salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes or red pepper powder, a small amount of turmeric (optional) and cumin (optional).

Step 4: Knead all the ingredients thoroughly. Now you can shape it as you wish.

Step 5: Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket. Don’t forget to spray oil in the basket beforehand. You can also use baking paper if you want, that’s what I did. This will make cleaning easier for you.

Step 6: Cook at 190°C/374°F for 8 minutes. Then turn the meatballs and cook for another 2 minutes. Time will vary depending on the size of the meatballs. Meatballs should be cooked until the center of the meatball reaches 74°C/165°F.
